Day 1 Saturday 15th July 2023 D

Home – Darwin

Today we make our way to Sydney airport to board our flight (flights included) for our arrival into Darwin. Once we arrive in Darwin we will transfer you into our accommodation at Travelodge Resort Darwin (Ph: 08 8946 0111)

Day 2 Sunday 16th July 2023 B

Darwin – Free Day

Enjoy a free day to experience the smallest of Australia’s state capitals, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities. Darwin has a picturesque setting and an easy-going charm, so take the day to explore what’s on offer. Today is at your leisure with dinner also being of your own choosing (own expense)


Day 3 Monday 17th July 2023 BD

Darwin – Katherine

This morning enjoy a tour around Darwin city including East Point Military Reserve and the exclusive Cullen Bay Marina. This afternoon unwind as we begin travelling in our luxury coach as we make our way South through Adelaide River to our overnight stop at Katherine known as the place ‘where the outback meets the tropics’. On arrival in Katherine we make our way into the Nitmiluk National Park where we will enjoy an afternoon cruise throughout the ancient sandstone chambers known as the Katherine George. Settle into our accommodation tonight at The Contour Hotel- Katherine (Ph: 08 8972 1744)




Day 4 Tuesday 18th July 2023 BD

Katherine – Kununurra

​This morning we begin heading West, taking us through Victoria River, Timber Creek and across the Western Australia border. Side trek to Lake Argyle (the source of the famous Ord Irrigation Scheme) where we join an afternoon cruise from Lake Argyle into to Kununurra. Take in a glorious Kimberley sunset from the Ord River before retiring to our accommodation for the next 2 nights at the Kimberley Grande Resort Kununurra (Ph: 08 7918 7885)

Day 5 Wednesday 19th July 2023 BD

Kununurra Free Day

Today for the early risers, there is an opportunity for a scenic flight over the world heritage listed Bungle Bungles ranges. (This is an Optional part of the tour and at own expense, for more information, please read important information for details or just let us know if you would like to participate when booking). Upon return we will tour the Kununurra district and view the Ord River Irrigation area where amongst other vegetation growths we will see lines of sandalwood trees which when mature sell for approx $16,000 per tonne. After lunch back in Kununurra enjoy this afternoon at your leisure before enjoying dinner back at the motel.

Day 6 Thursday 20th July 2023 BD

Kununurra – Halls Creek

After breakfast we will bid Farwell to Kununurra as we journey through Turkey Creek, enjoying some breathtaking views of the vast Kimberley landscape. Tonight our overnight stopover is at Halls Creek where a statue resides of a prospector called Russian Jack who was remembered for pushing a wheelbarrow carrying his sick friend over 300 miles in the Kimberley’s harsh landscape to Hall’s Creek to get medical help . Day 7 Friday 21st July 2023 BD 

Halls Creek – Broome

Today’s path will sweep us into Broome. Enroute we will visit the renowned Fitzroy Crossing and pass many of the ‘evil’ boab trees. Legend has it that the devil plucked up the boab tree and thrust the branches into the soil and left the roots in the air giving it the look of an upside down tree. Upon arrival in Broome, the distinct buildings reflect the relaxed atmosphere of this multicultural town. Our accommodation for the next two nights will be at the Continental Hotel (Ph: 08 9195 5900)

Day 8 Saturday 22nd July 2023 BD


Enjoy a leisurely day around Broome, this will allow us time for a visit to The Pearl Luggers Museum, a visit to the Japanese Cemetery to reflect upon the contribution the Japanese people made to the local pearling industry and also some free time to explore this beautiful, isolated, coastal town.

This evening we will head for the beach where you may choose to book an optional experience of a sunset camel ride (own expense) or just come along to take a stroll along the beautiful Cable beach and admire the crystal blue water of the Indian ocean. Today you may also book an extra experience on the Horizontal falls. (more information in rear of brochure)

Day 9 Sunday 23rd July 2023 B

Broome – Home

Today marks the final day of our tour. Our coach will take you to the Broome airport for your flight back to Sydney where another of our coaches will be waiting to return you to your home.
