From the sunsets over the Indian Ocean to the magnificent backdrop of the mountains, the Kimberley’s are just breath taking. This tour has been especially designed for your comfort and enjoyment and has proven very successful in past years.

Day 1 Saturday 21st July 2018 (D)

Home – Darwin

Today, after home pickups, we travel to Sydney where we board our flight for an afternoon arrival into Sunny Darwin. Accommodation: Travelodge Mirambeena Resort Darwin (Phone: 08 8946 0111).

Day 2 Sunday 22nd July 2018 (B)

Darwin – Free Day

Enjoy a free day to experience the smallest of Australia’s state capitals, being simultaneously one of the counrty’s most modernized cities. Darwin has a picturesque setting and an easygoing charm, so take the day to explore whats on offer.Today is at your leisure with dinner also being of your own choosing (own expense).

Day 3 Monday 23rd July 2018 (BD)

Darwin – Katherine

This morning enjoy a city tour including East Piont Military Reserve, Port of Darwin, the exclusive Cullen Bay Marine and visit to the Darwin Museum. Then unwind s we begin travelling in our 5 star coach as we make our way through Adelaide River to our overnight stop at Katherine. Accommodation: Katherine Ibis (Phone: 08 8972 1744).

Day 4 Tuesday 24th July 2018 (BD)

Katherine – Kununurra

This morning we begin heading West, taking us through Victoria River, Timber Creek and across the Western Australia border. Side trek to Lake Argyle (the source of the famous Ord Irrigation Scheme) where we join an afternoon cruise from Lake Argyle into to Kununurra. Take in a glorious Kimberley sunset from the Ord River before retiring to our accommodation for the next 2 nights at the Lakeside Resort Kununurra. (Phone: 08 9169 1092)

Day 5 Wednesday 25th July 2018 (BD)

Kununurra Free Day

Today for the early risers, there is an opportunity for a scenic flight over the world heritage listed Bungle Bungles ranges. (This is an Optional part of the tour and at own expense, just let us know if you would like to participate when booking).  Upon return we will tour the Kununurra district and view the Ord River Irrigation area where amongst other vegetation growths we will see lines of sandalwood trees which when mature sell for approx $16,000 per tonne. After lunch back in Kununurra enjoy this afternoon at your leisure before enjoying dinner back at the motel.

Day 6 Thursday 26th July 2018 (BD)

Kununurra – Halls Creek

After we have all finished breakfast we can all enjoy a visit to the Zebra Rock Gallery and watch how this unusual rock is transformed into works of art. After Morning Tea at the Gallery, we will bid farewell to Kununurra as we journey through Turkey Creek with our days travel guiding us to our overnight stop at Fitzroy crossing. Accommodation: Fitzroy Crossing Inn (08 91915080).

Day 7 Friday 27th July 2018 (BD)

Halls Creek – Broome

Today’s path will sweep us into Broome. En route we will visit the renowned Fitzroy Crossing. Upon arrival in Broome the distinct buildings reflect the relaxed atmosphere of this multicultural town. Our accommodation for the next two nights will be at the Mercure Inn Continental, Broome (Phone 08 9195 5900).

Day 8 Saturday 28th July 2018 (BD)


Enjoy a leisurely day around Broome, this will allow us time for a visit to The Pearl Luggers Museum and The Japanese Cemetery to reflect upon the contribution the Japanese people made to the local pearling industry. You will also have plenty of time to explore this beautiful, isolated, coastal town. Today you also have the option to book on some extra tours. You may either do a half day tour to the Horizontal Falls or this evening there is the option of a sunset camel ride (both own expense) or just come along to take a stroll along the beautiful Cable beach and admire the crystal blue water of the Indian ocean.

Day 9 Sunday 29th July 2018 (B)

Broome – Home

Today marks the final day of our tour. Our coach will take you to the Broome airport for your flight back to Sydney where another of our vehicles will be waiting to return you to your home.
