Home – Broome
After home pickups we spend this morning traveling to Sydney airport to board our flight into Broome. Your coach will be waiting for your arrival in Broome to transfer you to our motel. Relax and soak in the atmosphere of Broome before dinner. Accommodation Mercure Broome. Ph 08 9195 5900
Day 2 Monday 30th July 2018 (BD)
Broome and Surrounds
Enjoy a leisurely day around Broome will allow a visit to The Pearl Luggers Museum and The Japanese Cemetery. Reflect in the peace of Roebuck Bay and the coastal ruggedness of Gantheaume Point where the red cliffs meet the white sand over the sparkling blue waters of the Indian Ocean. This evening there is the option of a camel ride (own expense) or take a stroll along the beautiful cable beach.
Day 3 Tuesday 31st July 2018 (BD)
Broome ~ Port Hedland
Port Hedland is our destination as we travel along the western edge of the Great Sandy Desert. Overlook the Salt Piles and maybe see some of Australia’s longest iron ore trains snake along their tracks. Accommodation: Ibis Port Headland. (Phone 08 9173 1511)
Day 4 Wednesday 1st August 2018 (BD)
Port Hedland ~ Tom Price
Continuing our journey, we detour from the coastal roads and into The Pilbra Region as we head for our overnight stop at the iron ore mining town of Tom Price. A visit into the lush Karajini National Park will totally change your veiw of our Pilbra region as we see the beautiful gorges flowing throughout. Accommodation Tom Price Motel. PH 08 9189 1101.
Day 5 Thursday 2nd August 2018 (BD)
Tom Price ~ Coral Bay
Our destination today is at Coral Bay on the shores of The Ningaloo Marine Park. Finish the day with a cruise in a glass bottom boat over the amazing coral reefs. Gaze at the spectacle and colour of the fish as they investigate the progress of the craft. Accommodation: Ningaloo Reef Resort (Phone: 08 9925934).
Day 6 Friday 3rd August 2018 (BD)
Coral Bay ~ Monkey Mia
Dolphins leaving Coral Bay head to Carnarvon, the rich banana growing centre of the Gascoyne. Onwards to the Peron Peninsula flanked by the waters of Shark Bay and Denham Sound to our night’s stopover at Monkey Mia. Accommodation: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort (Phone: 08 9948 1320).
Day 7 Saturday 4th August 2018 (BD)
Monkey Mia ~ Kalbarri
This morning hopefully the dolphins will arrive for their morning visit. Then onto Hamelin Pool to explore the “Stromatolites”, one of earth’s ancient forms of rock vegetation. Before journeying into the seaside town of Kalbarri we visit the Kalbarri National Park (subject to road conditions) with the opportunity for the energetic to take the short walk and view life through “Natures Window”. Depending on seasonal influences many varieties of wild flowers may decorate the landscape. Free time this afternoon to explore this lovely coastal town. Kalbarri Edge Resort (Ph 08 9937 0000).
Day 8 Sunday 5th August 2018 (BD)
Kalbarri ~ Geraldton
Travelling south along the coastal route discover Northampton, one of the oldest settlements outside Perth. Then onto Geraldton to ponder at The HMAS Sydney Memorial Lookout and reflect with “the waiting woman” as to the fate of the sailors who perished in this wartime disaster. Take time to admire the architectural genius of the priest Monsignor John Hawes at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. An early motel check-in will allow free time to relax or further explore this city on the Batavia Coast. Accommodation: Ocean Centre Hotel (Phone 08 9921 7777).
Day 9 Monday 6th August 2018 (B)
The Pinnacles ~ Perth
Today we take a diversion from our “earthly” tour and head for the moonscape of Pinnacleslimestone pillars at The Pinnacles in Nambung National Park. Ponder as to the formation of these “termite mound” type structures standing like monuments in a desert of time.Leaving The Pinnacles, head for Perth where our accommodation for the next two nights is in the heart of the city.Tonight you chose whats on the dinner menu as you have the opportunity to dine anywhere you chose in Perth City. Day 10 Tuesday 7th August 2018 (BD)
Perth – Free day
Enjoy a free day to relax and explore this magnificent city. The elegant riverside parks and gardens complement the languid beauty of the Swan River in this, Australia’s most “sunny” capital. The main street, Hay Street, with it’s Mall, provides an excellent opportunity for some retail therapy or perhaps just a quite coffee in one of its many sidewalk cafes. Our accommodation is within easy walking distance.

Perth ~ Home
We know all good things must come to an end and today marks the last day of our holiday down the West Coast. We will travel to the Perth airport for you to board your flight into Sydney where another of our coaches will be waiting to return you to your home (or specified drop off location).
